Events
Eden Gardens State Park and the Friends of Eden host several events throughout the year. While some events are annual traditions, others may change from year to year. To stay up to date on the latest events at Eden Gardens follow us on Facebook!
Camellia Festival - Cancelled due to weather
Camellia Sale rescheduled for Sunday, Feb 12th from 9-noon
The grounds of Eden Gardens State Park has quite a collection of Camellias. Beginning to bloom in late November, Camellias bring beautiful blooms to the park through the winter months. In February, we pay tribute to the Camellias, provide an array of educational displays and presentations, and invite visitors to stroll through the Camellia garden and grounds.
October Film Series - Oct 2023 (12th, 19th and 26th) at 6:30pm
Spooky classic films played on an outdoor screen under the oak trees at Eden. The event is free with paid park admission ($4 per vehicle). Films will be shown on the lawn near the pavilion and guests are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, bug spray and coolers. Support the park by visiting our concessions where we will have popcorn, candy, soda, water and other beverages available for donations. Films TBD
Members Meeting & Trivia Night - 2023 Date TBD from 6-8pm
Join us for a new spin on the annual Member's Meeting in the Pavilion at Eden Gardens State Park. Food and beverages will be provided for guests and Brian Peterson will be hosting 3 rounds of trivia. Between rounds of Trivia, the FOE Officers will update the guests on what's been going on at the park and upcoming projects. Please RSVP to friendsofedengardens@gmail.com if you would like to attend.
Christmas Luminaries - Dec 9, 2023 from 5-8pm
A wonderful holiday tradition in South Walton! Enjoy a walk through luminary lined pathways at Eden Gardens State park after sunset. There will be live music and Santa on the grounds throughout the evening, as well as cookies and hot beverages provided by the Friends of Eden at the Pavilion area.
